Palestine Polytechnic University and TU Berlin (Technical University of Berlin) launched the activities of the SEED Project in Amman, the capital of Jordan, through a workshop and a series of preparatory meetings. The project aims at joint planning for its implementation, which seeks to improve the quality and sustainability of education by linking its outcomes to the goals of sustainable development and community service.
Representing Palestine Polytechnic University during this event, held from April 17 to 20, 2025, were Vice President for Planning and Development Engineer Ayman Sultan, Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Mr. Amjad Natsha, and Head of the Quality Improvement and Accreditation Unit Ms. Khawla Al-Muhtasib.
TU Berlin was represented by Professor Dr. Jan Kratzer, Academic Director of the University's Entrepreneurship Center, Ms. Anne Bamberg, Project Coordinator, and Professor Lubna Rashid, researcher and lecturer in the field of entrepreneurship.
The SEED Project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and is being implemented by both Palestine Polytechnic University and TU Berlin. It includes a series of academic and training activities, such as developing practical entrepreneurial courses and organizing summer and winter schools.
During the event, the partnership agreement to implement the SEED Project was signed by Engineer Ayman Sultan on behalf of Palestine Polytechnic University, in collaboration with TU Berlin’s Entrepreneurship Center, to formalize the joint cooperation in carrying out SEED’s activities in the upcoming period.
