PD Dr. Lubna Rashid
Lubna’s work lies at the intersection of social psychology, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technology. She is particularly interested in uncovering the bridges between nature, human behavior, and global socioecological crises. She researches and lectures in topics such as pro-environmental & (un)sustainable behavior, social & environmental justice, the threats and promises of technology & entrepreneurship, and system impacts on development.
She designed the award-winning module “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Challenging Global Contexts” and is leading educational projects in Egypt and Palestine. She is also pursuing a (second) master’s degree in “Ecology, Evolution, and Nature Conservation” at the University of Potsdam.
Lubna was born in Iraq and grew up between Baghdad and Amman. She also lived and worked in the USA and Lebanon, among other countries, before settling in Berlin.
